Rashmi Singh is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for data analytics, product development, and management. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Systems from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, where she has gained expertise in analyzing and visualizing data using Python and R, data science and big data, statistics and predictive analytics, cloud computing, data structures and Java, and system design and analysis. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Rashmi has worked in various roles in the tech industry, including her current position as a Staff Software Engineer at Visa. Prior to this, she worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Sorenson Impact, where she worked on enrollment and demographic projection modeling for the MAPS project using Shiny dashboard UI and server codes as structured within the Rhino framework. She also worked on MAPS data in preparation for user engagement using Numpy and Panda libraries. Rashmi has also worked as a Student Representative at the Student Philanthropy & Engagement Centre, where she assisted in fundraising and acquiring financial support for different academic programs and resources, as well as cultivating long-term donor relationships. Rashmi's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from KIIT University and a degree in Mathematics and Science from Creane Memorial High School. She is proficient in a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Java, Spring Boot, Salesforce, and UI, and has worked in various roles such as a software engineer, senior software engineer, data scientist, and research scientist. Rashmi is a lifelong learner and believes in the importance of continuous learning, unlearning, and relearning.
